Opinions for mods
well im getting ready to start a second job in a month or so which means i will finally have money to upgrade my stock 99 ram sport 4x4 single cab short bed, so i was wondering on what some people have done to make this truck look sound and preform better, i dont want to be too outragous or expensive so i would love your opinions on some stuff please also i just noticed that i see a lot of 2nd gen rams have rust under the pass door, i look and mine is starting to develop as well as under my pass rear fender, is this commen and expensive to fix just thought i ask, here is a pic of my truck if i can get it to upload right
Most people i talk to, even Ford or GM die hards all agree that 2nd gen Rams are some of the best looking trucks out there. They are very unique. Doing a ton of body mods is not worth it. They just look funny then i think! If you really want it to look good, go with a small lift, and some tires to fill up the spaces. Always add some axillary lights on there for show (and practicality). If you want performance, its all the things that are always talked about on here...
Cold air intake, free flow exhaust (like flowmaster), a programmer (not a chip, they suck), and maybe a TB and headers. This will all improve your hp and tq, and the intake and exhaust have a great sound gain they provide.
I have a Flowmaster American thunder cat-back dual exhaust for my truck and it sounds great. i attached a clip of it, which really isnt that great because its loud enough it overwhelms the digital camera microphone, but you do what you can. You can tell it idles very nicely, and is even better when you get on it (so dont judge it based on the quality of the sound, it doesnt do it justice). I also have everything listed in my sig. and more to come
ok, the attachment wont work, i guess they dont support quicktime movies on this site?, but heres a link to it on streetfire.net

My list of mods is in my sig below. I am very happy with the performance and mpg gains these have given me. I have also been using Lucas fuel conditioner for about a month and have been averaging about .4 mpg better with it. Total cost of my mods - about $1000. $325 of that was the exhaust system, $284 for the programmer, $225 for the TB......
