Default Removing mud flaps

This is kind of a dumb question, but I want to remove the mud flaps that came on my truck when I bought it (4 black ugly, stationary flaps). I might want to look for some new ones with some diamond plating on the bottom that are free to move around in the wind. I see there are several screws holding them into the truck, is there anything I should watch out for when removing them? like bolts on the other side or something, or do I just take the screws out and them put them back in?

Should there be any problems putting them back on if I want to?

Shouldnt be, but if yours are like mine, you will break half the screws off while you are removing them anyway.

you may have to remove the rear tires to get to some of the screws... either that or find a super short screw driver
