Default 2wd to 4wd swap
what all is involved in this? are there any good writeups about it? has anyone here done this?

its on a 95 ram 1500 v8 w/auto

HUGE amount of money and time involved. much easier to buy a 4x4.

yep, buy the 4x4 to start with, that way you only have the normal headaches, not additional ones

I agree with all of the above ^^^ Much less headaches/problems/cost to just trade your truck on a 4x4. There are plenty of them out there for sale. [&:]

or go find a 4x4 chassis thats in good shape from a junk yard and put your body on it.
