Yeah, I wanna do my rockers but don't want the retail cost. I have been looking inot the do DIY kits, but after reading some posts on those on this forum, I am not sure of the quality. I would like to see more people say good things. I am not going to pay retail.

i think in my profession i dont need to worry much about fuel costs, yeah its averaging about a $1.15/L, but hey thats average the new normal right now. plus i have a worktruck to drive 80% of the time that im on the road.

however I dont see how the sprayon is adding that much weight.. its only another what 20lbs for the whole truck? think of the stuff you haul, quads, lumber, etc.. .. i dont think a spray is gonna affect it that much, and it would definately save the truck from scratches, rust, pretty much anything.

What is the average cost of coating just the inside of the bed? I called a place and they told me it would be about $470. Is that average or is this place over charging?

The Line-ex dealer told me it would be about $450.00 to do my rocker panels. that included taking off the bumper and doing that as well so it wraps around the truck and looks nice. It was $500.00 to do my bed. He stated you had to rough up the panel real well and spray the crud out of it to get it too stick. Next month I hope, I'll send pics once completed.

What brand of bedliner did you do? From the sounds of it, I assume you did it yourself?

I did the bottom of my 98 and 99 and my 2008...tape it off.. sand it down.. wipe it clean and apply your choice of bed liner product.. I always used the rhino liner brand
