drop down bracket

Default drop down bracket

whats up guys!

i was under the dodge yesterday and noticed a mounting bracket on the front passenger side. is that for like a stabilizer, i couldnt see were another mounting point was. has anyone ever noticed this?

hey welcome to DF, could you be alittle clearer about what your talking about. theres alot of brackets on the frame. if you talking about on the passengerside right next to the steering then yes its for the stabilizer

the bracket is on the passenger side frame rail right behind the sway bar. if this is for the stabilizer, where is the other connection?

Not having a steering stabilizer is not a problem. I've been running without one for some time now after I broke mine off. Are you sure that's what were talking about here, though? The steering stab doesn't mount to the frame ... one end mounts to one side of the axle assembly and the other end mounts to the steering gear.

Oh ... you never said frame ... Tani did ... sorry.

Wait ... you DID say frame ... now I'm confused ...

There is a bracket on the frame directly above the axle (behind the sway bar mount). It is for an axle stop or "snubber" (rubber stop). Is this what you are refering to or are you talking about the steering stab?
