Default Oil pressure gauge going crazy!!

So my oil pressure gauge keeps dying..going from 60psi or so down to zero and then the check gauge light pops on and then it goes back to normal. I assume i need to change the sensor. Whats involved with that? or better yet where is that sensor located? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help in advance.

It's on the back of the block, next to the distibutor.
