Default New Sound

I just got through putting in a new stereo in my truck ('97 1500, 318 2wd ext cab); old stereo didn't even have a cd player. New Alpine 3856 has cd and does an awesome job running my Ipod. New Kenwood speakers to finish it out for now. Set up would easily run an amp and woofers (maybe later). Right now, just glad to have the inside of the truck sounding as good as the outside (Flowmaster cat-back with two straight out the back). Install was about the easiest I've ever done. No surprises, and everything works like it's supposed to. Crutchfield can't be beat in my book.

i replaced all my door speakers with sony xplods and installed a pioneer head unit (i didnt have a cd player either).. sounds good.. but i topped it all off with a huge 15 inch SPL sub in a box that takes up pretty much the entire back seat.. i can still squeeze somebody back there.. 2400 watt speaker on a 2500 watt amp.. cant leave it turned up to loud for long because it tends to make my ears hurt like hell

Ears hurtin' is OK as long as I can still fit somebody in the back to hurt along with me!

very nice. I have a new sony xplode head unit, with the factory infinity speakers in the cab, but i put 2 10 inch pioneers in it powered by a 1000W amp. I just need to decide how i might go about covering the box. ie, what color and material, and where to get it. What you do guys think? PS, I am really not trying to jack this thread, if it seems like I am just dont answer. Sorry
