I have a 2001 Extended Cab 1500 4x4 with 15" wheels and 37" tires. To get the 15" wheels to fit, the brake calipers had to be grinded down a bit. It had 15" wheels on it when I bought it, and after replacing the front calipers, we realized this. It does work though.

I didn't do it myself, so I don't know exactly. It couldn't have been much because he removed the wheel, grinded the caliper and had the wheel back on in less that 30 minutes. I do know that it was the top of the caliper that was grinded down. It may also depend on the size calipers that are installed to.
