Default ATTENTION ALL SEC GEN OWNERS *** READ THIS***

we have been discussing between the moderator to change our sections format and make sub sections inside of the sec gen. for example something like powertrain, non powertrain.... We would like to know how everyone would feel about this change. would you like it or hate it? do you have an suggestions. please vote on what you would like and post up how you feel about it. we will be desiding in a week or two whats going to happen.

for example it would be like to see here. https://dodgeforum.com/forumid_97/tt.htm

I've only been here a very short time, but I really like things the way they are. As it is now, since I have a second gen diesel I'm already hopping between two forums. I think further dividing things would only make things more difficult.

Just my opinion though ...

I think that part of what makes this place so cool is that it is so informal when it wants to be but gets down to business when it needs to be. I can understand that splitting it up into sections would make it easier to moderate but it would loose it's ... um ... "sittin' round the campfire - talking about our trucks" feel.

"Sorry - wrong campfire ... you want the one for wheels/tires." [>:]

don't do the sections. i hate them...take pavement sucks for example. do i really want to have to look through like 40 different forums to see some new and interesting posts?

i think its good as it is

we also dont have enough new posts every day to justify the sections. i could see if we had like 200 new posts every day, but there's usually only a page, if that.

I like it the way it is......I like going to one section and having all the post in one spot. I agree with what Bill said, we are kinda like a big family if its split up it would loose something.

Where was I when the moderators were discussing this? [&:]

I think it should stay the same. There's already more than enough members who can't figure out the 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen sections. To add sub sections would just confuse people even more...not to mention make it harder to moderate.

And frankly, in my opinion, we don't get enough new posts a day to warrant splitting it into sections.

You spelled "undecided" wrong. And, because I pointed that out you can probably guess that I'm the kind of type "A" jerk that would prefer sections . . .

You're not supposed to start sentences with conjunctions ... [8D]
