In response to Mayfair, remember the sidewall aspect ratio is listed as a percent of tread width. If you've kept the section width the same, 265 mm, then the sidewall would still be the same, assuming you keep the aspect ratio the same. However, you added an extra inch of rim diameter. So the tread would be 265mm, the sidewall 70% of the 265, or 185.5 mm measured from rim to tread. These numbers have not changed, what has is the rim, and you must add the same 185.5mm to a 16" rim and also a 17". If you wanted to keep the overall diameter the same with the larger rim, you would want a lower aspect ratio. I'm sure you have that figured out by now.
