Those are 40's (actual)!!!!! I could go to a 44 or 46 but find me one that is road worthy as i will be driving this where ever it goes ( I am not saving the miles for the next guy...lol)

Hard to find any typ of aggressive radial in that size, and If i did I would have to worry about rub on the cab side when turning!!!

Like I said, that picture doesn't fit the truck, its not as bad as that one looked!!

for your braking pleasure...

in 2001, halfway through the model year, dodge switched the corperate crap axle to have disc brakes. i know this cause my 2001 doesn't have them and the 2001.5 models all do. so basically if your 2001 was built after june 2000, then you should have disc brakes.

mine was built in january, and bought in may so no discs for me.

i don't know if the 2500's were switched before the 1500's but it's possible that they were. if so it was only in the 2000 model year. as to the 97 having discs, then they modified it.

I like it overall, except for one thing, that wing. That is cheesy if you ask me. Otherwise, it looks great!

Actually, I kinda dig the wing. I was thinking about putting one on my truck but I've never seen one before so I didn't know how it would look. Now that I've seen it, I think it looks kinda cool.

no 1500's came with rear disc brakes ... most 2500 and 3500 came with drums too... its the year switch you mentioned and it applies to 3/4 and i think 1 tons that went to discs...

http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/brakespecs.htm

scroll to the bottom of the page. specifically says that the 2001.5 models have rear discs, 2500's and 3500's anyway. looks like i did some reading wrong. oops.
