Big Red Tonka Pictures-- here they are
nice collection of leaf blocks.
a little too much lift for my liking and Im not a big fan of the 24s either
But its a decent truck, needs black rims in the 17 or 20 inch variety and some larger tires.

????????GODRAMIT
They are 20 inch rims with forty inch tires
There is a 12 inch leaf pack in the rear/ the factory block and a 3 inch shimmed block---thats only one...I would appreciate a bit of knowledge when commenting because I spent the dimes and did this thing right---Black rims on this truck would look cheap!!!
I've got a wheeler---2000 TJ on 7 inches of lift and I beat it----this truck is one for the street sand and show!!!
24's hahahahahah are you kidding me?

well even 20s look gay if you want my opinion. Anything over 17s look to ricey to me.
A 3" shimmed block? HMM, is that a technical term for stacked blocks?
I wasnt being nasty, I was just pointing it out, no need to get defensive (there wouldnt be a reason too if it was flawless)
Im not big on lifted show trucks (trailer queens).
and there are plenty of black rims out there that arent cheesy.
And if you really wan to doubt my intelligence take some close up shots of your steering and other things you fabbed up. I wouldnt mind picking away at them if you want to be a big *** about the whole thing.
When you post pics of a self built rig you should be prepared to take some feedback.

hey tonka.. speaking of your rear lift.. would you mind posting a pick of the backside of the rear axle and springs.. just curious on how you have that link setup and that axle swap..
One hell of a nice ride!!!! A lot of time, effort and PITA to change over the axles/drive train, looks good. Nice color.....
Don't take all the negative feedback too personal. I know you put a ton of time and money in there, but if we all had the same taste, all our trucks would look alike. [sm=icon_rock.gif]
Seen a guy about 5'3" at 7-eleven with a tall truck. He had a 5 gallon bucket on a rope that he dropped down to get in and out. That was funny. Damn, short redneck.
I have been looking at the wings myself. See a lot on ebay for 3rd gen dodges. I'm assuming they are similar dimensions.

GODRAMIT-- Here was my point on knowledge!!!
Didn't mean to offend but listed in my caption is exactly what (minus one or two things) what has been done to my truck and the rim size is listed in black and white....
So pick apart the steering--- The front is a one hundred percent stock F-250 set up (on the axle steering set up)...Trac bar and drag are withing 1% so there is virtually no bumb steer...Trac bar is heimed at both ends......Trac bar mount is custom---Welded to 2 by 4 crossmember constructed out of 3/16 steel...Just wondering what there is to tear apart...A great deal of math went into this thing...
Look, I love wheeling-- but this truck is the first truck I ever bought and the circumnstance in which I bought her are a little on the private side! I know there are people out there that only like certain things and perhaps extreme lifted trucks arent for you...But this isnt a trailer queen, it is drive 200 miles each way to the dunes, wheeled and then driven home! It is driven to the mudhole (not alot, but some as in the pictures I posted) and driven home! And it is driven to the car shows no matter how far and driven home!
I guess that when I am commenting on something as most have in this post, I look at how much work went into something and how it was built, and the change from start to finish--- if aint my style, I say nice truck and move on....Just not a big fan of neysayers who neysay just to neysay!
And finally, I am not being defensive, but its tough to have a conversation on the internet without seeming so! Guess the old addage of "its not what you say, but how how you say it" could come in handy if I was buying you a beer!
On the flip the only thing I have broken (pre ford swap) was the stock front end (chipped four teeth)....So I guess for build quality, that speaks for itself!
I said good-day...LOL

HEY SHOT8283
I will tryand take some pics at the GM car show this Sunday I am going to!!! Supposed to be a thousand cars and Trucks so in the process I will take some of the rear set up (which is pretty much stock as far as mounting goes)!!!! The ford axle and dodge axle is only a quarter inch different in perch which means you are cheating each side 1/8 inch....But I will grab some pics of the lift and shock set up this weekend!
Thanks, Kyle
