No inspection here in Colorado either.
None in Kansas either. Even the inspections for rebuilt cars are easy, they check the VIN and the mileage and you are done.

We might not have any inspections in Oklahoma but we make up for it in what we pay for insurance. But, it's worth it to have what you want.

I live in NC. As of July 1 of this year, or inspections went all to hell. Everything 96 up has to have the emissions checked. plus it costs 30 bucks now. Also, my 25% tint that has been on there for 3 yrs is now will not pass. (wouldnt pass before, but before, it mattered who you knew) but now, everyone is too scared to pass it. I have failed 2 times so far in insp. because of the tint, but I dont plan on having it taken off anytime soo. BTW, my sticker died LAST December.

I'm in Washington State. Parts of the state have emissons some parts don't. But no inspections. If it passes the sniffer then you are good. Hell my Prerunner's (97 Ranger that can take a four foot mound at 50mph) intake system is made out of pvc and no exhaust. But it passed the sniffer.

In new jersey, all trucks with modified suspension over 4inches of lift has to go to a special testing center and go for what they call a high lift or tilt test where they test the stability and other aspecs like if your tires are sticking out too far. then the measurements and the tire size goes on a sticker next to your inspection sticker. also we cant go either 6inch over stock on tire size or 38", which ever is first. also the amount of legal lift you can have goes by your GVW so im not sure if these are exact but 4,999 and under is 6 inches over stock, 5,000 - 7,000 is 9 inches over stock, 7,000+ is 11 inches.

God Bless Texas! It's $12.50 for an inspection here - period. No "illegal inch," no smog testing, and if you know the right people, you can get by with anything. (Hehehe...)

What part of Texas are you in?? Here in Tarrant County, it's $39.50 and, yes, we have smog testing. The exception is if your vehicle is older than 25 years then it qualifies as an "antique" and is exempt from the emmisions portion and only costs $12.50. The smog equipment still has to be "installed and operating" but they no longer probe your tailepipe. That's a state thing.
