BRAKE PROBLEMS
Alright, now I'm really spinning gears in my head.
The factory shop manual offers the following in summation:
1. check brake fluid level in reservoir.
2. For low brake pedal, start engine, apply brakes and take note of applied pedal height, then pump the pedal several times.
a. if pedal remains low and the brake lamp remains on, there is a system leak or worn master cylinder.
b. if pedal pumps up and stays, a caliper is sticking (hardware frozen) or rear brakes are misadjusted.
c. if pedal height increase after pumping and falls away, the master cylinder has failed or fluid loss is occuring.
d. a spongy pedal indicates air in the system.
Still rooting for you, and I only came on here to see if there was a easy way to change the upper passenger door hinge (there isn't).

We had a brake failure with one of our work trucks (1996 Ram 3500 V10) yesterday, and am looking for some input. After sitting at idle in 103 degree heat for about 45 minutes the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. It continued to do this for over 1 minute before it started working normally again. This has never happened with this rig in the past, and we have been unable to recreate it so far today (temp right now is only 95 degrees). While the problem was occuring the ABS and brake lights were on. They are now off, and there are no stored codes in the OBD. One of our shop mechanics has looked the system over and can't find anything wrong; no noted fluid leaks from anywhere in the entire braking system, fluid is full and seams to be farely clean. He took it out and ran the brake system pretty hard and was unable to get any soft pedal situations. The maintenance records show a brake service about 2-3 months ago. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
