3rd Gen parts on 2nd Gen Rams?
swapping within the same year model is generally just plug-n-play stuff... so long as you have the wiring for the tach, the clusters will just swap right out.
Hope this pic shows up. I got this off of ebay, it's just an aluminum plate that goes over top of the gauges and makes them look seperate, like the 02 and up gauges do. I have both trucks, a 98 thats been totalled and an 04 with a hemi and believe me, I have been trying to salvage anything possible off of the old dodge. Not much is interchangeable.

Any parts off the '98 that you would consider parting with? Any good body panels. I could use another bed and driver's side door. Let me know what you are will ing to part with via PM.
Will the side skirts, fender flares, body kit, whatchamacallit off of the 3rd Gen Ram Sport, HEMI Sport, Rumble Bee, or Daytona fit onto my '97 Extended Cab?

I'm looking to do some small upgrades in the near future. I've ordered a set of white gauges for my intrument cluster, but still would like something a tad bit nicer. Are the gauges from a 3rd Gen ram interchangeable with those of a 2nd Gen? (Meaning, could I put 6 individual gauges from a 3rd Gen into my '97 cluster?)
Also, this one a little simpler, how difficult would it be to replace my radio with a newer styled (read: '02-'05) one? I'm tried of not being able to play all of my burnt CDs on the old CD players, but I don't want to go aftermarket.
What do y'all think? Feasible? Rediculous? Easy? Hard? Let me know...
