Default transmission squeak

anyone know a place to find warranty info? or am i just going to have to call the dealer?

reason i'm asking is i've got a squeak. it seems like i can only hear it when i'm sitting in the cab with the truck running in drive or reverse. earlier it sounded like it might have been a belt but when i opened the hood (i was still able to hear the squeak in the cab) and looked and listened i heard nothing. got back in the cab and it was still squeaking. so i crawled under and i could distinctly hear it under there. it didn't seem to matter how fast the engine was turning so i figured it wasn't the belt at that point. couldn't tell if it was the transmission or something in the transfer case.

anyone else have a similar issue? i'd really like it to be covered under warranty.

fyi 42k miles and i don't think the transmission has ever been touched. praying i might just need some transmission service/flush.

anything is appreciated.

If it really is the tranny, maybe double check the transmission oil level.
In NEUTRAL, engine running after cycling all the gear range selections.
Wheels blocked and park brake set, of course.

Sound like maybe you're in of a tranny service (fluid & filter).
Shouldn't be the transfer case, nothing spins in park.

Just some advice from experience.

1. Make sure the oil is atf+3 not dexron
2. Don't skimp on filter brands (I just change a 47rh filter that had seperated[:@].
