I had a '95 Jeep Cherokee with straight 6 (I think 4.0L). I liked it, but it was weak in the power and torque areas, and what little gain you get in interior room wonn't even come close to making up for loss of pwer. Gas mileage isn't enough to be a determining factor in that equation. I'd much rather be able to haul and carry cargo, then again, I'm not in high school any more, so priorities may be a little different. If you have the choice, then it's your choice. Do what makes you happy.

 

they got the jeep in last night and at noon today i went up there to get it and they already sold the stupid thing. oh well i probly wouldnt have been happy anyway

 

That certainly made the decision easy
