I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 longbed 2WD and it was hit in the side of the bed. I see lots of "take-off" beds from 2006 3500 trucks for sale, and have a few questions:
1. Are the dually fenders removeable (bolted on) ?
2. Will it mount on the same?
3. Will the gas fill cap work, same location?
4. Any input/suggestions?

I'm having a hard time finding the right bed for mine and they want $2,300 to fix and paint mine! While I'm asking, will a later hood/grille/fenders bolt on to give the truck a newer appearance?
