Distributor cap and rotor
1997 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Laramie - 96,000k
How do I change the distributor cap and rotor. I recently changed my plugs and wires but still have a little sluggish activity going on. Here is the situation:
This truck has been sitting up for a while, very sluggish, especially when going up a hill... seems like it is missing. So, i've cleaned the injection system, new fuel filter, new air filter, new plugs and wires. It has responded better, but still seems to need more of something done.
Is changing the cap and rotor a diy? If so, can someone give me instructions? Are there any other recommended "tune up" items I can do to help get the this truck back to smooth running? I really appreciate any responses.
