Default 97 Ram ABS with Hypertech

Just wondering if anyone out there might be able to clariy this. I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 that I bought a Hypertech Power Programmer for that I had hoped to be able to use to adjust for tire size and gearing. Unfortunately hypertech says it relies on the ABS system in the truck so if its not sending a signal then the programmer cant do anything. So I was just curious if two different ABS system were installed in 1997, or any other thoughts on the matter?

Oh and one other quick question. I was just curious about this code on the build sheet, "YGEA - 5 Additional Gallons of Gas". Am i right to assume that just means they put 5 gallons of gas in when it came from the factory? Thanks, I know a stupid question

You can't adjust the speedo on 98.5 and OLDER trucks through a programmer. You have to change the speedometer gear in the rear end.

As for the build sheet code, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the reply. I probably wont bother, with 285's and 4.10 gearing im only 2.5 mph off so its not too big of a worry. Thanks.
