Yeah I'm thinking a dremel would be nice. Thanks for the info on the allen head bolts.

np i four usin a dremel it mite take a while , but it mite take a lil bit

We'll see what happens. I'll start by hand, but if that seems like it's gonna take a while then I'll switch to a dremel.

It advances your timing. If you have the death flash it will help to get rid of it little bit. Possible side effect of advancing your timing is that you might get pinging in the engine.If you get pinging then you need to check your plenum.

what is the death flash??had my dodge for while..... been into the 4x4 scene for awhile but got out of the money pit almost so trying to learn more of my truck

I had pinging or more like a slight rattle sound under heavy acceleration and someone suggested looking into the T.B. to check for oil residue inside the intake. There was some on the passenger side so I pulled the intake and replaced the upper and lower gaskets and reinstalled yet the pinging/rattle sound is still there. Could this be a sign that I need to do this mod ?
