man thats a sharp friggen truck.. is that a custom paint? looks too damn nice to be factory.. love the 2 tone.. looks good dude! are you gonna continue the 3rd gen emplems for the gate too? they look awesome!

It's factory paint. Patriot blue and --crap! can't think of the silver's name. It was in pretty good shape when I got it. I also work a little magic with my high speed buffer every now and then to keep things clean.

what kind/style of compound do you use? buffing is also in the bag of things i need to get better at..

I use 3M fine cut compound and Mequiar's professional #9 polish and finish with Megguiar's pro #26 wax. This is the best combo I have found for me.

thanks shocker. truck looks fine dude. I think that silver color is called "light driftwood metallic", just don't quote me. you DO keep it in serious shine mode......... What brand level kit you use? Billet, urethane, or welded steel construct?

It's steele. I think it's made by top gunz. I am not for sure, got it off e-bay a while ago.

assuming you apply the polish the same as you do for the compound? just at a different RPM? do you use the organic buffers or the faom pads? my truck is in some SERIUS need of a buff job.. i think im gonna practice on the tailgate first since it needs body work anyway.. thanks man!
