I got my EBC Green Stuff brake pads in today. Since I had my wheels off I decided to paint my calipers and drums. Nothing too fancy, just wanted a nice clean look. I think I acomplished that. I also washed her up for the pictures.

Looks good. I've been wanting to do the same thing but can't find the high heat blue paint I need. Anybody have any ideas where to locate a blue paint the is a close match to my truck?

hicktown, I got the grill inserts off of e-bay about a year ago. I believe that they are steele horse brand , but I 'am not for sure. Which fog's are you talking about? The small or big ones. The small ones are the factory fogs and I think they are 4" the others are PIAA's and I think they are 6" or 7".
shott8283' I just masked everthing off. Really just what you see is painted not the entire caliper. As far as the pads I really haven't driven with them. I just took it around the neighborhood to make sure everything was in order. They felt pretty good. They had a really bad smell when I got back, they have some kind of coating on them to help break in the pad with the rotor faster and I think that was what it was. Will see tommorrow when I hed to work. I think I am gonna' like them though.

brake dust is little to none.. been running mine for about 2 months now and i have 0 dust.. especially nice with my new alum rims!.. they are ceramic blend of some sorts and are really good about no dust..
shocker! becarefull.. i didnt bead my rotors and pads in correctly and i had a shutter for about 2 weeks before they evened out.. google beading brakes.. bear has a good way to do it.. mainly its a series of stop and goes from 60 to 10 .. do it about 8 times with out getting really on the pedal.. then drive for 30 mins with little braking to cool down.. then the material from the pads transfer to the rotors evenly and improve braking..
yea i could have done with out that smell... that orange coating is is just there to help keep the material from cracking during shipping and is saposed to help bedding but not sure how well it works..
