my friend is willing to sell me his 3 inch body lift off his 2001 ram.. but he has a auto tranny and i have a manual.. what exactly is needed for the manual tranny?? i looked on ebay and all and they are both the same price.. but is this something i can do myself if its even needed? also.. on the 97-99 body lifts for a auto tranny (i think) it says will also fit 00-01 manual trannys

if anything, the only mod you should need to make is the weld an extension in your shifter so its about 3" longer. but i dont believe thats neccessary with a manual, just an auto.

also, probably the nicest thing about the body lift is all the extra room you will gain to work on stuff, especailly under the hood.

With a manual you wont need to weld in an extention. (I didnt have to with my BL)
