Default Need help selecting a cam

The time has come to select a cam for my new 360 I am going to put in one of my trucks. This truck is used primarily for towing so I want to keep my low end torque. I know I can install a set of 1.7 rockers but the motor is on the engine stand so I would rather put a cam in than do the rockers. Also I would like to keep the stock computer to keep cost down.

The other mods I have done to this motor are:
52mm tb
Cut intake runners down
polished the stock heads (not worth much but...) + 3 angle valve job

Truck also has Jet Stage 2 chip, headers, high flow cat and flowmaster cat back.

I can get an R/T Cam for $175 brand new from someone who has never installed it. Not sure if this will get me where I want to be or not.

Thanks

Hughes is a good source, if you change the cam get 1.6 roller rockers and lose the jet chip, its worthless. Get a hypertech or a superchips programmer instead.

I am going to give them a call to get their input. People have talked very highly of Hughes here and on other forums. We will see what they say!
