Oh Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge.
My brother was cleaning out the throttle body on my truck today with one of those cans with the little 6" straw in the nozzle ................. and the straw popped off down into the plenum nowhere to be seen 
Is this a big deal?

Um....yeah...big problem. You're gonna have to pull the throttle body off...and possibly the plenum, and try and fish it out.
This is why I never suggest just spraying in the cleaner. It's always best to remove the whole throttle body.

1. It bounces around and does nothing
2. It melts, you have expensive repairs in front of you.
3. You backfire and incinerate it and deal with the smell?
...ignore that last one.
