Default low heater performance!

where are all of the blend air doors, and how many are there. i have a 98 1500ram, with luke warm air coming out. my dad and i checked the heating core is hot enough that you cant even touch it, and the blower motor works fine. it blows out enough air but it is only luke warm. my dad thinks there is a stuck blend door and we dont know where all of them are we only know of the one behind the glove compartment, and that one is for recirculation

Sounds to me like you might have a blockage in your heater core [&:] That's just my thought on it though based on your description.

As far as the blend doors, I'm not sure about the new cab configuration...but you can find a service manual here: https://dodgeforum.com/m_340929/tm.htm that should help you find the doors.

is your truck running a little warmer than normal? mine just recently started doing that and it was running warm... and one of the hoses under the truck routing out of the core was stopped up...

I have similar issue, I know its warm, but not much heat actually coming out of thew dash. How difficult is the heater core to pull. I have done it on old fords and chevy's. Is it any different?

I have the same problem with my 2500. I have plenty of airflow just luke warm air. I have been told that is something i will have to live with having the v-10.
