I just put in the Alpine head unit a couple of weeks ago that runs my Ipod. I love it. It sounds great, and it works the Ipod just like the controls on the Ipod itself. I didn't have the infinity system, so I put in new speakers all around. The Alpine unit is worth it if you use your Ipod as much as I do. Easy install and haven't had a glitch so far.

 

Yea clk i use a alpine also. I love it works well and looks perty good. Works even better with the ipod. That is the only thing i use is my ipod, over 250 songs never get bored, my bro is a college student so he has plenty of time to do stuff and look for songs for me on his computer. Works great. gives the interior a mondern look also.

I was going to put the Alpine in, but ended up using the new Pioneer 9800BT. So far i love it, but i havnt had a chance to install the Ipod adapter. I bought it because it incorperates bluetooth, so my cell phone runs through my radio. Alpine has an adapter that does this as well. Gives you a hands free cell phone in your car thats worked by your radio. Works really well too. I'd suggest taking a look at that too if interested in bluetooth. Pioneer and Alpine both make great units. The only plus with the pioneer is that the bluetooth is built in to the radio. The display on it is awesome as well.
