I have a 1996 Ram 1500 with a stepside bed. I bought it used this way and just figured that the bed was an aftermarket modification by the previous owner. But, I have recently been told by a couple people that there are in fact other stepside rams out there. One guy told me that 500 were made in red, white, or black. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

I have never heard of a 2nd gen stepside, but if you do have one, I would love to see it

There are a few others out there.

IIRC they use a chevy step-side bed and modify it for the Ram tail lights.
