Hi Stove pipe, got the same coloured truck ( deep amethyst) ----98 quad cab 360 v8-2wd-3:55 axle.

 

thanks guys ive just had it 2 weeks now and it feels like ive already ben adding to much too it. and im just getting started. i had the front 2 windows tinted to match the back factory tint. added the nerf bars. window vent guards. tail light covers. class 3 hitch and wiring plug.third brake light cover.billet grill.and just ordered a set of headlight covers. and im not done with the mods yet. still to come is FLOWMASTER, 2" leveling kit, 265 tires, bed rails, and im sure i will find a few more things to do to it.

 

Good looking truck! I know what you mean, everytime I think I'm done I find something else to mod/add.

 

I didnt know you could get window vent gaurds for the quad cab doors!! Nice looking truck. That will probably be my next mod. My truck looks a little funny with just the front doors having the vent guard.

 

i had a little trouble finding them myself. you cant get em around here at the local stores. all i found was the front window sets. butt thanks to good ol e-bay i found the 4 piece set they are made by wade.

 

Stove, you should really consider the aero Turbine exhaust instead of the Flowmaster. I just put it on my truck and I LOVE it !! I ordered it from Verocious listed on the right hand side over there ---- >.

Apparently it is the same exhaust NASCAR uses. I dunno, but to me it sounds AWESOME !!

BTW .... do you have any pics of your interior? I remember when the 98's came out my father ( original owner ) was told not to go with the tan leather interior because they said it looked too orange so he went with the gray. I think it would have looked better in tan but I've never seen it. Is that what you have?
