Default 50 series flowmaster

Does anyone have the 50 series SUV/Performance flowmaster exhaust on their ride? I am looking into upgrading the exaust system on my 5.2 but not sure which route to go. These sound pretty good by the clip that I heard. But just curious if anyone has any hands on knowledge of them. Looking for a goo mean sound to come from my truck when I start it up as well as while I am driving down the road. But don't want overkill. Not looking for straight pipe sound. Thanks.

Default RE: 50 series flowmaster

I have the 50 Series SUV on my truck. It made the exhaust note a lot deeper. No drone at highway speeds, which made the wife happy. It sounds really good at idle and low throttle acceleration, has a nice deep rumble. But when you get on the throttle, it kinda piddles out (at least as heard from the inside of the truck). If I could do it again, I would go with the 40 series instead. They sound about the same at idle and low speeds as the 50, but they stay loud and deep when you get on the gas. I will probably change mine out someday for a 40 series, or else a Magnaflow. The 50 might be just what you are looking for though based on your description of what you want.
