The switch in the truck could be bad.

When you turn on the foglights, does the small light on the switch panel light up telling you that the lights are on? When i first bought the truck, the fog lights didnt work. That didnt light up either, so i replaced the switch. They worked after that. Than about 8 months later they stopped working again, but that little light was lit on the switch panel, so i looked into the wires and found a broken ground which ran to both the lights.
