Default Possibly for sale

Fellas

Just talked to KRC performance in Florida and was working on getting an intake and throttle body from them---

I explained my set up to them and he presented me with some options and the one I like the best is swapping my supercharged 318 with a built 408---$6500.00 for 500 rear wheel horses!!!!

Do any of you have any dealings with these folks in the past??

If this is a go, I will do it this winter and have a crate motor 318 with only about 10 to 15 thousand miles on her and a powerdyne supercharger for sale!!!

Guess the next question is would any of you be interested?????

I am thinking in short block form including supercharger and auxilary fuel pump set up for the supercharger, around 4800.00...I think it is well worth it and I will throw in the headers too as I think the 408 will not use my headers....Email me at baddoggy34@yahoo.com if you are interested!

Kyle

or feel free to call me at 419 466 8625 for any questions!!!!!!

or why not keep the supercharger and put it on the 408? idk if your firmilar with a 408 stroker. its a 360
( 5.9) magum block board and stroked. i has a few different thinks like a deeper oil pan to compisate for the stroke. its gunna be the exact same thing so you can use your headers and supercharger on it and anything else you have? im building a 408 for my truck. im getting some of my stuff from KRC and some from Ohio crank.

thought about that too, but I think that 500 at the wheels (what they claim). That 408 is a 360 block???? Wow, guess I never put it together, wonder if that powerdyne I have will feed that big bore???? Gotta draw enough CFM's to get the job done!!

Guess I will make the call tomorrow and see what they say.

Has anyone heard of these guys?????

Ya, KRC has been around for awhile, and they know their stuff, but I never get anything from them. I've checked them several times for various things, and they are always way overpriced compared to competitors. Marty has always been helpful to answer questsions though.

I say go for it. I have heard nothing but good things about KRC performance and that really isnt a bad price either for 500 horses at the rear wheels. To achieve the 408 they dont really bore out the block a whole lot they mostly get it from putting a stroker crank in it and if I remember right it makes the stroke about 4" longer than stock. Also if you are going through the trouble of putting a bad *** motor in it you can just have any headers. So I would call up john Mercedes at southeastperformance.com and have him make you a set of long tube headers for your truck. He has been working on getting a set made for the 2nd generation 4wd dodges and he had some test fitted and been useing them for a while now.
