Front Tow Hooks
I want to put some tow hooks on the front of my rig. Ive seen the ones for sale on E-bay that come on the off road models and they were like $120. Looking for a cheaper way of doing it. Maybe fab up a braket to bolt on some $10 hooks. Doesn't look like any easy way to bolt directly to the frame. Has anyone tried this? I want something really strong for yanking out stuck rigs often. If you got pics of yours that would be great.
Thanks

If you want something really strong, I suggest you pay the $120 for the Mopar tow hooks. They bolt directly to the frame, they're strong, and they're more than worth it! Last thing you want is a fabbed up tow hook flying through the window of the truck you're trying to extract after it busts off your truck
You could also try looking around some local junk yards. Thats where I got the brackets and hooks for my truck. Isnt there a member on here or www.pavementsucks.com that sells custom made brackets that can use the tow hooks off a Chevy? The brackets are the same design as the OEM Dodge ones, but it uses the Chev hooks (different bolt pattern) that are way easier to find than Dodge ones.
