Default Steering Humming/Roaring Sound

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to here a roar when I,m turning the steering wheel? I have suffient power steering fluid, see no leaks or other visible problems. I only have 33,000 miles on the truck, what gives ?

A roar? An annoying whine usually indicates a failine pump shaft bearing. If you put your power steering pump underwater one time while it's running you'll know exactly what I'm talking about!

Yeah when I turn my steering wheel at all from center position I can hear a sound that sounds like fluids passing through somewhere. don't know if its the same as yours, its not extremely loud, but its noticable
