a co-worker and I were talking about fuel effecient cars and the diesel hybrid came up... that would be an interesting setup if someone would do it. I know the Jetta TDI's get 40~50 mpg.

 

Did some additional researching and I think this one is out of all of our leagues. According to Popular Mechanics it's only about $350,000.

Yeah, saw that a while back, the technology for electrics is getting better. Sexy little thing but while it gets great mileage the performance sucks for a 350k car. Heard they filled all their orders and took 100k deposits for late 07 delivery.

edit... feel free to move it if you like. I look at it this way, as mods we can determine what should & shouldnt be here... I say as long as it's car/hockey... ok sports lol, it should all be good... also as long as the threads dont get out of hand, they should be able to stay. it's like having a conversation with friends vs strangers...

 

if i had that much money id make my truck kick *** and then buy a bigger better more kick *** truck and put my other truck in the bed and drive it around. repay it for all these years its driven me around
