Default armor all and steering wheel

I don't know if you guys have done this before or care about it but I was armor alling my truck today and I was doing the steering wheel and I got some on the cruise control buttons. While I was doing it I thought to myself I never noticed they are like smudged, like when you write in pen then move your hand over, you get those marks. Well the same thing with armor all and wiping it off. I found that if I licked my finger and went carefully around the words it got rid of the smuges around em but can't do anything bout between the letters, just a word of advice not to get armor all on the buttons.

I wouldn't recommend ArmorAll on any part of the steeering wheel, you can end up with a slippery wheel that aint good for turning, dude. I assume you have leather so use a good leather conditioner that will protect your wheel without the slippery.

Yeah I usually don't but I since it hasn't been done in a long time I did it, figure I won't be driving it tomorrow so it will get some time to settle in. I'll look into the leather stuff.

For that matter, don't Armor-All ANY control surface. We (the wife and I) were picking up her new Eclipse GT (back in 2000) and the fool in final prep had Armor-All'ed the PEDALS. Nice and shiney ... nice and slick. We didn't take that one even though it was the last blue one on the lot. Took a maroon one instead.
