hey mustang guy here... needs some dodge imput
oky doky...
My pal has a '96 dodge 3/4ton with the v10 in it...
He's lookin to do the exhaust andhaving aton of trouble finding the stuff he wants... So I try n help thinkin theres a big market for the stuff... well I guess mustangs are the only cars with a huge selection...
regardless...
He already bought shorty headers (against my advice) and now he wants to do the rest... he can't find any true duals... he wants it to run over the axel and then turn out the sides (behind rear wheels)
So advice, suggestions... and what does everyone else here run????

As far as exhaust I think headers are a good idea. The Burning Rom is the V10 expert but I think he will agree with me when I say that your friend shouldn't do true duals. IIRC leaving the stock exhaust alone is probably the best plan. He should look into a K&N CAI and a Mopar performance PCM if he can find one.
Kits aren't relaly hard to find for these, but theres deffenitially not as much as a chioce as some cars. I would recomend him to go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend the pipes for him. It'd probably be just as much as buying one of the kits actually, most places aren't that bad price wise. Also this way they can do exactly what he wants. Make sure he gets an X pips though

He is right, im sure it would cost just about as much as buying a kit from somewhere, plus u gotta pay shipping and what not, just get them bent..or do it urself, cut and weld (very time consuming) but me and my friends have done that for our exhaust and intakes and its really nice...we did it to my buddys 323IS BMW and two Honda civics
