i was just reading some old post and found this one....to answer your question about the paint, It started out with the bed getting little chips here and there, then they gradually the paint just starts to separate from the primer, then the primer usually turned into rust, i had to keep sanding and painting primer over a bunch of spots. The hood and top of the cab were mint cond. until about a year ago, then they just all the sudden started to fade and now it looks like a 50year old bass boat! It sucks, but i'd rather buy my lift than paint it! It's just gonna get all scratched up anyway!
