I think I posted this in the wrong forum 1st time around?? Anyway, I have a '01 Ram 1500, 5.9 and my check engine light has been on. Found the evap lines running off the gas tank are cracked, is replacing these just a simple matter of dropping the tank and putting new lines on? I'd rather not pay someone to do this sort of thing, so any help would be appreciated. Also, what I really hope isnt coolant is leaking out of what looks like part of the heater core. Yay, just in time for winter. Anything I need to know here?? Sorry if these are dumb ?'s to some of you, this is my first Ram, so any help is greatly appreciated.

 

never done it. cant imagine it would be too hard though

 

I had a crack just off the canister...I don't know if you can do it, but I just cut the end off and put it back in place. Fixed the problem.
