Any articles available on doing a front end alignment on your own?

I thought about doing it, but, the only real measurment you can check and adjust by yourself is the toe-in (which is adjusted via the tie rods).
There isn't really a good way to measure the camber and caster. (tools to check this are virtually non-existant, I checked, don't worry)
Not to endorse a specific company or anything, but I was gonna get an alignment, and ran across a great deal at Firestone Auto Care centers. The "Premium Alignment" gives you a lifetime limited warranty on the alignment (basically, they will do an alignment ever 5,000 miles for free) as long as you own the vehicle. Call your local shop for prices/terms/etc. At my local shop, it was like $140. Yes, seems a little expensive, but if ya think about it: most alignments are like $60 or $70. So, after 2 alignments, its paid for itself.
Just a little FYI to pass on.

Thanks
Took it to an independent and was quoted $45 (not including parts) to align it. When I called to find out if it was ready to pick up, they said it needed bearings among other things and their new estimate was $900![] I didn't let them touch it and brought it home.

Thanks

That's the problem I had with Firestone's "lifetime" alignment. I got one on my wife's 4Runner. When I brought it in for the third alignment (after about 10k or so) they said that the front end was loose (?) and refused to honor the warranty. The front end was fine ... the thing only had about 25k on it. They just wanted to keep my money. I got two alignments total out of the deal ... broke even.
