The more you plan and research the less headaches later. There's enough of those without causing them yourself.

Just wondering what cleaner is recommended to clean the sensors by the TB. I know ramdamit said he used mopar combustion chamber cleaner and had no probs but just wondering what others use. And when cleaning the TB sensors, is it safe to clean all of them, the TPS, MAP, and IAC?

get throttle body cleaner and use alot of it... you'll probably go thru 1/3~1/2 a can. the only thing you need to clean is the IAC and the throttle body... leave the map & tps alone. if the map looks gunked up, then you can try cleaning it. but i've never seen on that needed cleaning.

is there a certain type of throttle body cleaner? I told my dad about getting some and he said he might have some in the garage, but its for his lawn mowers, that make a difference? (of course I'll read it before usin it, but just wondering)

If your looking for something a little gentler for the sensors CRC makes a Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner that should be safe on just about any sensor, but since the throttle body itself is just metal there's should be no worries on what cleaner you use on it.
