Guess what. His directions worked and I am shortly on my way to get a replacement PCM. I have code P0601 - Internal Failure Code. The truck still runs good, but I am not taking any chances. Found a used PCM for $125 about 1/2 hour away so I'll be heading that way at 3:00.

Thanks for the help. Exactly what I needed.

FYI, I'm going to mount the new PCM while I am still at the salvage yard to be sure it does not give me any codes.

Installed the new PCM last night and guess what? No more engine codes and it runs great. I know it will take a few days for it to learn what my engine likes, but at least that dang yellow check engine light is off. Drove about 40 miles after installing the new PCM and when I got home, no codes.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
