Shifter Knob Removal/Replacement.

Default Shifter **** Removal/Replacement.

My current shifter ****, in my truck got damaged really bad (deep scratches from a knife) and when i shift it hurts my hand (somewhat cuts my hand when i shift) was wondering if i could replace this **** with another cheap ****...

Edit: solved... gotta love junk yards.. found a dodge Mt with a perfect shifter ****..

Assuming yours is a manual, how did you remove the old shifter?

You have to use a small flat head screw driver and pop off the numbers (1-2-3-4-5-R) under that is a bolt remove the bolt and unscrew the ****..

BTW my truck was a victim of random vandalism but my insurance pretty much covered everything... that was major.

see, idc how you removed it...how the hell did u cut it up with a knife...do u just have a knife that flys around when ur driving?

That doesn't seem to be so safe

both shifters come off the same way,i replaced both of mine with the carbon fiber gear shifters,that looks cool
