Now I have a question that at least someone can answer. I know everyone one has did it, and if you say you don't you are feeding us full of it. But does the stock dodge rearend hook posi when burning tires? I have tried many of times to do it, and it has only happened twice. But is there any way to make them hook up? I have tried backing up for a wihle and then putting it into first gear and not dumping clutch but letting it go rather quickly. Does anyone know the answer to my question, and if so, can someone tell me how to make it hook posi(by turning the wheel, or anything). Thanks

Umm I've done it once or twice on accident, the only reason why i know is because when i park in the grass at my house, and take off really quick i leave 2 ditches where i was sitting =). Also I watched my g/f's mom take off in my truck when i first brought it home, and she tore two ditches into the ground as well...

Yeah I'm not sure how she did it but it happened

I think all of the stock rear ends are limited slip (at least if you got the towing package they should be) My truck hooks possitive every once in a while on asphalt.... and almost every time I want it to when I'm playing on wet asphalt...

Then my rearend is the same as yours. It will hook up everytime when i nail second gears and mat into it, but when i am on dry asphalt, and hit second and mat into it, it will catch for about 5 foot and then nothing.

it depends on what rearend you have... if you have the TracLoc and if your clutchpacks in that rearend are still good then your rear end should lock up everytime..thats how it works...now if you have the open rearend...goodluck getting both sides to lock up .... . i have the tracloc rearend and both sides will lock up all day long if im doing straight... if im at a dead stop and wheels turned to the left or right and goose the hell out of the throttle..both sides will lock up for a second and then when the truck starts to turn a little bit,,, one side will spin alot more then the other side...if im sitting straight and goose it and keep the truck straight and narrow .. ill leave 2 perfect marks all day long

is that the kind of thing that will be told on the build sheet? (tracloc or not) id love to go out and smoke the tires to find out, like i did almost daily on my street tires, but with these mudders i dont wanna waste tread.

After a local outdoor Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, just for the heck off it, Power braked the 35's in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic on a damp road coming out. YEEEHAAA They did some serious howling. My Yankee buddy in his Mercedes was impressed. He also never thought he would be in the middle of so many rednecks.

Anything is possible with alcohol!!!!!
