On my Reg cab I looked into the center seat stealth boxes, but I need the seat to be useable and although you can sit on the stealth box because it is wrapped in factory material, there is no cushioning and that would suck to sit on for any length of time.

So I went with a Bazooka tube behind the passenger rear seat. I went with a 8" because it fit so great back there, and I also went with their 200 watt RMS amp instead of the 100 watter.

In the doors I put Infinity Reference 6 x 9's 2-ways which fit right in without modifications. Warning about the door speakers though, unless you stay with a 3" mounting depth or less, you will wind up having the window hit the speakers, or if you shim it out to avoid that, then you wind up with bulging door panels. The Infinity's are 3" mounting depth FWIW.

For the rear I just faded out the factory 5.25" speakers for now, but my plan is to get some Infinity 5.25 components and put the tweeter up higher to avoid the seat interference.

I was a little hesitant to get the Bazooka tube/amp because I could not hear it locally as I could not find anyone with one hooked up, but they rock! This 8" hits hard and fools you. It could easily be confused for a 10". It fits in the plastic bin behind the rear seat and only uses a little space. I still have all the shelves and space behind the center section and drivers seat and space is a premium in a Reg Cab.

Long story and I kind of stole your thread, but to answer your question, I don't think you can go wrong with Infinty speakers. They sound the clearest to me when side by side with just about anything.

I have that exact same cd player in my 96 ram...sounds awesome. It pushes 4, kenwood 5 1/4, 240w speakers in there right now, but i've got 16g RF wire, stock wire doesn't sound good cuz its only 22g...and the mids highs are AMAZING. I also bought some 8" subs, so i dont over do it and i'm modifying the box right now, it'll sound sweet mixed in with my exhaust.

www.hifisoundconnection.com is where i got my box for my quad cab truck. pushing two infinity reference ten's with an 1100 watt kenwood amp. even so i did have to modify the box to get the subs in there. it is a downfiring box so it's not blasting into people's feet if they are sitting back there. hits really hard really loud. turn it up enough and it drowns out the stock speakers.. yeah i know i need to replace those asap. the box fits right up under the back seat.

i have pics of it in my gallery.

as for speakers, i've been looking at putting the infinties in my truck. just love the way they sound over jbl memphis walmart junk. and i'm one that likes to keep things similar.
