Do you have stock exhaust? I think that's a single in/single out. I plan to use one of those when I get L/T headers, and 3" y-pipe. Summit has lot's of Magnaflow cats.

Well, my '96 has 2 in/1 out. The two inlets are about 2", and the outlet is 2 1/2". I'm not sure if yours is the same. Best bet is to take a look, and measure the pipe diameters.

Here's what Summit shows for an '01, 5.9. They only list 2500/3500, though. I don't know what you have.

depending on your states inspection.. you may have to keep your cat .. and its nice for everyone else...i have an 01 and i used a maganflow high flow cat from a 94 to 99 b/c i couldnt find one for a 00 and 01 .. worked great.. i welded everything but clamps will work.. also be a good time to give your 02's a good cleaning.. and inspect the wiring..i found one of my 02's with chaffed wiring and soon would be shorted out.. bad news.. unfortuantly i cant remember the part number but i know i got it from summitracing.com.... good place to get parts!!!!!!!!

Yeah definently get the magnaflow replacement that comes with the Y pipe already. The universal one is actually more expensive for some reason.
