removed the dash, now no trans

I replaced the heater core, moving the dash and now the trans does not work. It starts in Park and neutral. Everything else seems to work but the truck does not move in reverse or forward. I did drive it into the garage. Ideas???

You might crawl underneath the truck and make sure the linkage is still hooked up. The clip that holds it on fell off of my truck the day after I bought it, it scared me half to death. I took a piece of a coat hanger and fixed it where it won't fall off again.
