You should be able to go to AutoZone or Advanced and get universal lift/lowering blocks. I'm not sure if they come in 1" or not, I know they have 2" though. You might be able to get some kind of add a leaf setup too.

Buy an Add A Leaf from Summit or JCWhitney. They are $45 bucks. Using a block is more expensive and will create more axle wrap than you already have

or you spend a little more and get them from Skyjaker and have a little better ride

Another vote for going with an add-a-leaf. Better than stacking blocks IMHO.

Rule 2 applys to Jeeps and other short wheel based vehicles.
3"s is the max on full size rigs

Its perfectly fine or manufacturers of 3" body lifts wouldnt be able to manufacture them. DOT wouldnt allow it.
and in all actuality it doesnt raise the center of gravity as much as a suspension lift does.

Now, If you were talking a home made one then yes I would agree.

I would avoid doing it this way. This means you will need to stack this Autozone block on top of the factory block. Not a great idea. AAL is much better in this situation in my opinion. And make sure you get a true add-a-leaf, not a helper spring. Those are worthless.
