hi everyone I just got a 99 dodge ram 1500 v6 auto trans 160.000 miles i drove the truck all day drove fine just shifting from 1st to 2nd it revs a little thats ok with me but then i went to the store abouth a hour latter it whould not get out of 1st gear ? i drove it slow turn it off then started it and drove it agine it went fine? no check light on can anyone help ?? i hade a older dodge do this it was a sen prob.. please help me.........

 

mostl likely the same problem... thats considered a common fix to shut the vehicle off and turn it back on.. temporarly resets the TCM.... swap out your sensors.. that may do the trick... very common on the A604/41te auto's in chrysler's cars
